When we hired Adam Tiegs for our wedding in June of 2008 there was no way we could have known what we were getting ourselves into! Saying that Adam is a DJ is like saying that Disney World is an amusement park...both are experiences, and amazing ones at that! From the time we hired him, he began to guide us through the planning process of not only the music but also the timeline for our important day. He was an absolute asset to our wedding and created an atmosphere the day of that left people talking for weeks. He was calm, cool and collected and guided us with his amazing microphone voice through the day (I swear he could have his own radio show). We could not have asked for more! Then in May of 2009 Adam out did himself! Our office hosted its first Kids Day America...an international health, safety and environmental awareness day for kids and their families! Because I was so overwhelmed with the event, I gave him little to work with...little more than the age group, date and time. He was perfect! The kids loved him! He gave structure to our event and even MC'd the party! He was our DJ, our Announcer, our Prize Distributor and our Cake Walk Coordinator...the whole shebang! He was our experience! Every experience we had with Adam's DJ Service was outstanding in every way. Adam was the first DJ that my fiance and I met with, and after our initial meeting, we knew that we didn't need to look any further. Adam came super prepared to our first meeting (not to mention he drove and met us at a location convenient to us, which was great) and had a whole folder filled with papers about music selection ideas, such as for your first dance, bouquet toss, etc...as well as ideas and helpful hints for our overall wedding, like timeline suggstions, it was awesome! He even worked with us on our budget, and we got a great deal for booking him when we did. When it came closer to the wedding, we had trouble getting our slideshow to play on a DVD, so Adam took the initiative to download it and spend a couple hours fixing it himself and putting it on his laptop, which was way beyond the call of duty. The slideshow ended up being a highlight from the wedding for us, so we were so appreciative that he was single-handedly responsible for making it happen. The main part of the reception thought was the music, and that was great! We've continually had friends and family talk about how wonderful the music selection was. Part of why it was so great was when we sat down with Adam for our final meeting, he really worked to help us figure out what music to play when, and he had a ton of great suggestions that complimented our own ideas. Overall I couldn't have imagined a better experience with a DJ. Adam was kind, helpful, enthusiastic, and it really made our wedding to have him as our DJ. He was on time, and met me at my time availability with out a problem. When we met at the venue we were having our party at, he presented a great presentation of his services and what he can do and provide. He listened and took notes of our organization and what we expected and had great ideas to accommodate some of our most difficult people who were attending. And above all those ideas worked! There was no pressure to sign a contract and no urgency, however I did sign on my own request before he left that day, to make sure no one else booked him. And thank goodness, because I later found out he had been booked the same day with 4 parties. He gave us great discounts for being a military installation and holding the party on a weekday. The day of the party, he was there in advance, dressed to expectations, pleasant and got the party started. The party attendees were pleased and enjoyed the selection of music he played and he took the time to meet and greet with each and every table for any special requests they may have. It's two weeks later and we have heard nothing but positive feedback and great compliments to his services and the mood he set from start to finish. When dancing became an issue, Adam changed the "tone" of the music which affected the students (and some parents) in a negative way. From start to finish, Adams DJ Service was AMAZING. After my first meeting with Adam, I really felt he had an understanding of what I was looking for. He was always quick to respond to my E-mail's, easy to work with, and gave me some wonderful referrals for other vendors. As my event got closer, Adam told me who my DJ was going to be, I was nervous because it wasn't Adam himself. But I felt confident that if Adam recommended him, he would be great, which is an understatement. We LOVED Kryspin, my guests LOVED Kryspin, he was THE BEST! We gave him a brief idea of the tone we were trying to create and a few song selections. Most of the songs played were not from that list, but they were perfect. Even the catering company was wondering who picked all the tracks. People started dancing as soon as the music started, there really wasn't any slow times. Kryspin also is a great MC. I hate it when the DJ at an event makes things awkward, this never happened. He made everyone feel at ease, was easy to approach, and really seemed to enjoy what he was doing. I can't say enough about him. I would definitely recommend Kryspin to anyone. Adam's DJ Service outperformed my expectations. I had so many vendors and entertainers at my reception, I was really nervous as to how they would all work together. Our DJ did a beautiful job announcing and working with (3) other performing groups. Adam is a talented and outstanding DJ, host and organizer, who has a passion for his work. In an industry were most DJ’s create a cheesy cookie-cutter reception, Adam created an atmosphere that was unique our wedding. Most importantly when consulting with Adam he treated us like friends and not as profit. He sincerely wanted to make sure our reception was perfect, and it was thanks to Adam! The way he was able to coordinate the communication between caterers, photographers, planners and guests was extremely smooth and professional, the entire night went perfectly because of Adam. We had a diverse crowd from all over the world of varying cultures, including a very large contingent from NYC and were afraid our DJ would not be able to reach across the entire crowd. A friend of mine said if Adam was based in NYC, he would’ve hired him on the spot for his upcoming Manhattan reception. I can go on and on of how impressed our guests and I were of Adam and his staff. He worked so hard and spent so much time with us to make sure things went right and did not hesitate with last minute changes. From there he developed the kind of music selection we would like, and what type would create the kind of party atmosphere we wanted for our reception. This made for a nice intro while we were taking pictures and finishing up. He proceeded to keep the party going during the reception and got a lot of people dancing and having fun. Travis, our DJ, was really great about talking up our photo booth. Some of our older guests were a little wary of the whole idea of a photo booth at a wedding, but because Travis kept inviting people to come over and have fun with it, we got everyone to give it a try. Travis did an AMAZING job. He was interactive, listened to my instructions, and he made the guests have a great time! We had a lot of last minute things we needed help with, such as calling raffle tickets, song requests, giving out prizes etc., Travis was on board for all of it, and did not seem overwhelmed with the last minute items, which was nice. The lights looked amazing in the Rain Forest Pavilion, I have never seen it like that, and it looked awesome! There was a couple at the end of the night that were having a BLAST with the karaoke, and Travis was so patient in letting them sing a few more songs before the night concluded. He was not in a rush to leave right at the stroke of 11. He also arrived early and gave himself plenty of time to set up, so there was no stress then either. Most of all Travis just had a great attitude, and really added something special to our event. He is someone I would definitely recommend for future events, and I want to thank you both so much for helping us put on this event. It means a lot to our staff when we do something special for them, and Adam's DJ service really made everyone kick back and have a good time. Finding a DJ was one of the hardest parts of planning our wedding. In fact, the DJ was the last vendor I booked, because I couldn't find one who wasn't cheesy, bossy, or we didn't mesh with. After all, the DJ can either make or break the event! From the first time we met Adam, we were impressed. Adam was not cheesy, he was himself! He listened, and understood what we were looking for in a DJ. He took time from his schedule to have an initial meeting to go over our needs and wants. That meeting typically would have lasted an hour, but we spent three hours with him. He really knows his music, he can read his clients, and has some very creative ideas. Adam went above and beyond as a DJ. He provided us with referrals to other vendors who he had worked with personally, and gave us ideas about how to make our wedding unique, and to help our guests have a good time. He even contacted people he knows to help us find our unique mode of transportation. Adam was prompt with e-mail, and mail communication. He met with us a second time, when it was convenient for us, to go over all of our song requests, and the time line. He delivered on everything, and more than he had promised. On the day of the wedding Adam called to make sure everything was going well, and to see if we needed anything. He arrived and set up early for our reception. He greeted us and ensured us everything would go smoothly. He ran the entire reception from start to finish with high energy, humor, and positive words. He even set up beautiful lighting that added to the ambiance of the reception site. He was on top of his game, and we didn't have to worry about a thing! Which was a blessing, because I got to enjoy every second of our reception without a care in the world! He even made sure that our guests were having a good time. We are still getting compliments about how awesome our DJ was from our guests! When the reception came to an end, Adam helped us get our site cleaned up and even offered to take our linens back. I feel that Adam was more than a vendor who we hired, or a DJ who played a cd, he was a guest at our wedding. He helped make our day special. He genuinely cared about us as his clients, and truly wanted us to have the time of our lives. We highly recommend Adam for any of your DJ needs!

Adam, we were very satisfied overall with our experience with you and your service. Here's what we liked: 1) Extremely professional 2) Easy to talk to and listened to all of our requests 3) Played all of the music we asked plus understood our style and choose other similar music 4) Checked in throughout the night to make sure everything was to our liking 5) The timeline was perfect and you stuck to it - there were no boring moments or pauses 6) The guest were always informed of when dinner was, toasting, garter toss etc. 7) We could tell that you truly enjoy your job and work hard at it. We do not have any Suggestions for improvements. The music was absolutely perfect, and our guests enjoyed it as well!

I was very pleased that Travis met with us in person before the wedding. We used A LOT of his suggestions for our wedding day. He had lots of good ideas for music choices. We felt very comfortable giving him full reign on our wedding day. He kept the flow of the day going. When it came time for open dancing he did a great job feeling the mood of the crowd and was also very good about playing the requests of our guests. Lots of people commented on how great our DJ was. Side note: Your website is very user friendly and has lots of helpful info on it including the payment option. VERY ORGANIZED!

Eric provided a very professional DJ service for our unit's Battalion picnic. He was early and had everything setup well in advance of anyone arriving. All his equipment had been checked and he was able to answer any questions I had. As the event went on he worked with the crowd and helped create a fun environment. The music selection was perfect and worked great with the families. I will hire this company again for future unit events.

After interviewing a few DJ services for our wedding, Adam's DJ Service was chosen. Being from out of town and having the event in western Washington, we really wanted a DJ, that could entertain and help with the emceeing. Hit the bulls-eye with Adam. From the initial interview, to the planning stages, Adam was cordial, flexible, on time, and also seemed to really have fun, enjoying his time at the event, which is very noticeable to all. He judged the crowd well, kept the event moving, played many requested songs. Adam attended rehearsal, and come up with terrific lighting for event room. We would not hesitate to recommend Adams DJ Service for any occasion, but from first hand experience - wedding reception - a solid A.

We were absolutely thrilled to book Adam's DJ Service for our wedding. I spoke with Adam on the phone prior to a face-to-face meeting and already I knew I wanted to book him! Travis, (Adam's right-hand man) was wonderful. I met with him a week before the wedding with a mock reception time line and a list of all the songs we and our guest requested. Travis was able to locate some less popular songs to make sure the flow of music met our needs! During the entire event Travis and our wedding planner worked closely together. I had the best time that night, and LOVED our music. Travis used his creativity and added songs to fit our style. Looking at pictures, everyone is smiling and having a great time!!

I was given Adam's name several years ago by a trusted friend. We have utilized his services for four years now for our fundraising dinners, conventions, and larger meetings. He's always prompt, professional, courteous, goes with the flow, and interjects humor appropriately. For example, on Saturday while we were going through a long and tedious vote count, he started playing the Jeopardy theme, and it broke the tension in the room....everyone was laughing. We were referred to Adam's DJ Service by a friend who was happy with the service she received at her wedding. When we first contacted Adam by phone he was extremely friendly and helpful in explaining the services he would be able to provide and the cost. We were specifically looking for a DJ who was not "cheesy" and who would listen to our wishes and carry out the style of wedding reception we were looking for. We met with Travis and felt very comfortable right away because he was friendly and easy going, but also very professional. He met us in person at our venue in south Seattle to discuss the details of our event. He generously offered to give us the same rate our friend had received, even though our event was scheduled for a Saturday, not a Friday (which is generally discounted). Following our first meeting and signing the contract we spoke with Travis on the phone several times before our event to go over details. He really got a sense of our general style and was able to convert that over into a fantastic event. Travis arrived early at 3pm to set up his equipment before our guests began arriving, and then returned after the ceremony to begin the cocktail hour music (we had a live musician planned for our wedding ceremony). He was even nice enough to run the audio and controls for a slide show we had prepared during dinner, which was not in his job description. After dinner our guests danced all night long and Travis played until the very last second when he needed to begin packing up (our venue had a "hard out" at 1am). He played an amazing mix of music that we had recommended plus his own choices, and many of our guests stated that our wedding reception was "better than any club in Seattle." In particular, we really appreciated Travis's flexible personality, his promptness and excellent communication skills, and his willingness to jump in and help with whatever we needed for our wedding. We really feel that we got an incredible value for the cost, and would recommend Adam's DJ Service to anyone looking to have a fabulous event.

I ABSOLUTELY loved working with Lars. The sound system was excellent and the coverage he was able to get was outstanding. He was attentive and responsive to my needs. Additionally, he really understood "pacing" and was one of the best emcees I've worked with. I would be happy to work with him anywhere. I did submit his name to our company offices as a possible emcee for events. The gigs come up on occasion. I will happily recommend you for any gig that needs DJ services.

Adam, Thanks for being the DJ at our wedding! I loved every minute of the reception. I loved having our requests played as well as the requests of our guests. I heard from a few guests that they enjoyed the music immensely. Also, the guests loved having their requests played. The pacing of the evening was perfect. There was no lag time between events: the cake, bouquet, games, etc. The evening had happy energy and good flow.
